It has been a dramatic day for Liverpool Football Club at the Royal Courts of Justice.
Mr Justice Floyd this morning ruled in favour of RBS which means that the sale of Liverpool FC to NESV can go through.
Liverpool FC Chairman Martin Broughton spoke with delight after emerging from Court 18 in the Royal Courts of Justice in London yestarday morning.
Addressing a media scrum alongside fellow Board members Christian Purslow and Ian Ayre, he gave the following interview."We are delighted with the result. We feel justice has been done. That's what we came for and that's what we got. We are delighted", said Broughton. Read the full interview here.

Christian Purslow today insisted it's "back to business" for Liverpool Football Club after Tom Hicks and George Gillett failed in their bid to change the Board. Read the interview here.
During the night LFC published the following statement:
"Regrettably, Thomas Hicks and George Gillett have tonight obtained a Temporary Restraining Order from a Texas District Court against the independent directors, Royal Bank of Scotland PLC and NESV to prevent the transaction being completed.
The independent directors consider the restraining order to be unwarranted and damaging and will move as swiftly as possible to seek to have it removed.
A further statement will be made in due course."
