"Please please me" was Beatles' first big hit in England. It ALL began with this song. And as Paul is saying in the introduction to this song - with the lovely Scouse sense of humour -

" ... this song was released in America, and it didn't do anything. And than it was released again, and it is doing something, you know ..."

We know that this song, and everything, what came after, is sheer history! 

It was released in year 1963. Gosh, those were days ... Gosh, how I love this lads! :-9
