Fernando Torres Cartoon

His goalscoring exploits have often strayed into Roy of the Rovers territory - and now Fernando Torres is going a step further with his very own cartoon character.


Spanish editorial group SM have created a comic called 'Fernando Torres and the Emperor's Consul'.

The publication - which will hit the stands next week - is the first in a series of comics containing a selection of elite sportsmen.

The plot starts with El Nino and a group of children sat in a television studio when suddenly the interview is cut short. Our No.9 is transported to the Coliseum in Rome, where he has to warn off the marauding lions armed with only a football.
